Bahamas First Junior Golf Championship 2019: Heathcliffe Kane takes top honours over the weekend on The Front 9 Junior Tour

Heathcliffe Kane put together a workmanlike performance to win overall first-place finish at the recently concluded 2019 Bahamas First Junior Golf Championships held over two days this past weekend September 14th & 15th at the Lyford Cay Golf Course and Ocean Club Golf Course respectively. Kane topped a field of 25 juniors with a 2-day score of 148.

The results in the age division play were as follows: In the Boys/Girls 6-9 category, first place went to Patrick Mactaggart, second place went to Kayleigh Rolle. In the Girls 10-13 category, first place went to Nataija Mcphee. In the Boys category, first place went to Aiden Gorospe, second was Rhan Miller and third went to Jackson Mactaggart. In the Girls 14 -15 category, Tyesha Tynes was the winner. In the Boys 14-15 category, first place went to Alex Dupuch, Benjamin Knowles took second and third place went to Jaden Ward. In the Girls 16-18 category, first place went to A’Marie Smith, second was Nyah Singh and third went to Miranda Tucker. In the Boys 16-18 category, first place went to Heathcliffe Kane, second was Judah Lloyd and third went to Clinton Bowleg.

The Tournament Flag for the event, which goes to the junior golfer with the lowest score, also went to Heathcliffe Kane.
