How can I play on my school's golf team?
Contact your PE teachers. They will decide if to add you to their rosters for the championships.

Where will the championships be held?
For 2022, it will be held at the BGF Golf Facility. It is a 9 hole course which allows everyone to compete fairly.

What does the school golf program consist of?
There are three parts:
1. Golf in the school curriculum. Through the Ministry of Education, golf is in the school curriculum. Golf is taught from February through March.
2. School Golf Championships. The championships are held over the course of one week. Each division competes on a day to determine the schools advancing to the championships. Then the teams who advance will play on the final day to determine the champions.
3. Spring matches - one match per week for each division is held to continue the training of the players through the end of May.
How many players make up a team?
For a school to submit a team, they must have a minimum of three players or a maximum of 5 players per division. The low three scores per team will be counted towards the team score.
If my school does not have enough players for a team, can I still play?
Yes, your school can enter you as an individual player. All players who are in the tournament are also entered in the individual category. In golf team competitions, although the player is a part of a team, they still represent themselves as an individual player.
